Healthy Living Plans

Maybe you know now that there are five main areas to target in healthy living. These are the areas that will help you reap the greatest health rewards for now and in the future.

5 keys to healthy living

Avoiding use of tobacco

Protecting your skin from overexposure to the sun

Eating a nutritious diet

Being active every day

Having a healthy body weight

In fact, those areas represent the main preventable risk factors for many kinds of cancer and other diseases, too. And although some of these risks are long-term, you can get benefits now by adopting good health habits and making smart lifestyle choices—for school, home, work, and play.

Having a plan and some measurable goals can help to get you started and then keep you on track. Remember that goals that are real and do-able are easier to reach.
